Incredible carved wooden fique of Archangel San Miguel. Provenance is not known. Stands 15″ x 5″ w x 3 1/2.
Origin is most likely early Italian or French. The statue is carved from one piece of wood and is hollowed out on the back. The wood stand is newer and was added later. The statue has movable/articulated hands.
