ANTIQUE EUROPEAN ROSARY SET. For your consideration, this lovely hand made silver and gold antique rosary. European (Spanish) from 1800’s. The chain consists of lapis lazuli beads and silver gilted chain (not 18k gold) that show delicate hand etched designs. The 18k gold (acid testing) filigree crucifix at the end shows magnificent work on both its front and back side. The size of the cross is 6.2 cm x 4.2cm. This is a delicate rosary that displays absolutely quality workmanship throughout. This kind of rosary is not meant to be worn around the neck and there is therefore no clasp/opening. This genuine Rosary luxury set includes a prayer book in Spanish published in Barcelona in 1899 and two aditional leather wallets. The previous owner of this set was an important person indeed. Very good overall condition for its age, near mint, however it has some age marks, surface rubs and wear (please watch closely the provided pictures).
