Description of item for sale. This beautifully hand carved statue of the St Cecilia is from France or Belgium and it dates to the mid/late-1800’s. It’s made from solid oak wood. It’s finished to a very pleasing medium oak color. Overall this statue is in very good antique condition with very minor scratches, chips and discolorations as would be expected. There are a few small chips on her crown and a larger piece missing from the back base (see photos). There is no woodworm or dry rot. We welcome Local Inspections and Pickups.
