The doors of the triptyque open on brass hinges to reveal an exquisite interior. The central panel features an image after Pierre Mignard’s’Virgin With Grapes’ and to either side, on the interior of each door, is an angel, each playing a musical instrument – just lovely. The colours and finish are very atmospheric. The tryptique sits on a wooden base but also has a metal loop on the back for hanging on a wall. 51 cm (20 inches) high x 33.4 cm (13.1 inches) wide.
