This is a official sealed Catholic antique theca with a relic identified by the label S. Francisci Borgia (Saint Francis of Borgia). This is likely from the late 19th century. It is encased in a round, brass reliquary. There is no back. This is in great shape and just shows minimal signs of normal age/wear/patina. The original wax seal and threads are perfectly intact.
