Stunning 15ct gold cross intaglio seal ring antique, hallmarked. This very unusual ring is made from 15ct yellow gold and is set with an oval blue/grey sardonyx intaglio in the shape of a gothic designed crucifix. The intaglio is well carved and has a few minor surface scratches communsurate with age and historic usage but overall for an intaglio is in excellent condition being slightly off set within its bezel setting. The gothic style cross is very well carved with sharp defined edges to slightly decorative shoulders. Smaller sized and looks really striking when worn. This wonderful ring has been sympathetically repolished ready for a new owner to enjoy. Please note that the antique box is not included, this delightful ring will be sent in a new ring box.
