RARE ANTIQUE 1800s RELIGIOUS SUNDERLAND LUSTREWARE ANGEL FOLK ART PLAQUE! Up for sale is another interesting object from the collection of religious artifacts. This is one of. The best examples of the original 1800s Sunderland Lustreware I have ever seen. A rare religious ceramic wall plaque with an additional letter A added to the word Ye. Usually, it is spelled “Praise Ye The Lord” but in this example, it is “Praise Yea The Lord”. But what else I love about this example is its quality of preservation. It is in such amazing shape that it looks like the plaque was made just recently, even though it is more than 150 years old! Thank s to the place where it was stored. The house where it was hung stayed dry and the plaque was not exposed to extreme heat or moisture. There is just one spot that appears to have a small imperfection that occurred during the glazing process. You can see it on a photo with a spot of a green glaze in the top left size do the plaque. This incredible piece with a cute folk art-looking angel in the center is about 9 inches wide and about 8 inches tall. Please ask me first for the rate if you live in a different country.
