Antique Ethiopian Amulet Manuscript Scroll Handwritten Magical Prayer Protection
Authentic antique Ethiopian amulet manuscript scroll, traditionally created for spiritual protection, healing, and warding off evil. These sacred scrolls were custom-made by learned scribes (often priests or debteras) and carried or worn by the owner as a personal talisman. The manuscript is handwritten in Ge’ez, the ancient liturgical language of Ethiopia, and features ritual texts, symbolic diagrams, and vivid hand-drawn figures in red and black ink. The illustrated figures and geometric markings are characteristic of Ethiopian magical-religious tradition, believed to guard against illness, misfortune, and malevolent spirits. The scroll is made on aged parchment/leather, naturally darkened and worn through time, and is presented rolled, as it would have originally been kept-often inside a leather or metal protective case.
