This exquisite piece is a silver-plated on copper, high-relief religious icon is a work of art. Many of these icons were made in Spain in the late 1800s. It is in such great and solid shape I did not remove the back to find a mark as to where it was made. What makes this artwork truly unique and rare is the integrated moving part-the hand of Jesus actually moves back and forth. It has a great presence and certainly would be a wonderful focal point in any room. Frame measures 20 1/2″ by 16 1/2″. The relief portion measures 14 3/4″ X 10 3/4″ sight size.
