Hello, you are viewing my sale for an Antique Polychrome Wood Carving of a Woman Carrying a Basket. She is wearing a Long Dress. This is a Detailed Hand Painted wood carving. Is this a religious woman? This carved figure weighs 2.4 pounds and measures 15 and 1/4″ tall by 5 and 1/2″ wide by 4 and 1/2 deep. There is some wear present as well as loss of paint which I have shown in my photographs. This figure cannot stand on its own and must be leaned against something to stand upright. The top of the basket on one side is missing the top. There is great character throughout this wood carving with lovely details. There are no repairs present.
