A nice early 18th century religious painting on canvas depicting the death or healing of a saint. The composition is dark with a light illuminating the saints from above. Truly a master work. It has been relined in the past with an interlining. It looks to me from the edges that it was probably cut down slightly from a round painting. Size unframed is: 18.25×19 inches.
