Up for sale is a very large antique 17th century hand carved Italian religious wooden sculpture. It’s carved with intricate detailing throughout and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The sculpture depicts Jesus wearing a crown of thorns carrying a cross and is mounted to a carved wooden plinth. The statue alone measures 22 inches tall by 6 inches wide.
