It will be hard to find this book in this beautiful rare condition. This book is solid!! Very tight and strongly held together for its age! Leather is strong and great condition! Spine is solid and intact at all corners. Inside of front and back cover fully attached. The front brown paper inside cover page is missing but the book is perfectly attached to the cover. It was not ripped or torn out. It is like it was cut or just never there. It does not affect the condition of the book or hurt it in anyway. Gold gild on outside is in beautiful condition. On the bottom there is one small 1 inch by less than half inch very lightly faded spot on the bottom gilding on the book. I show in a photo. It’s barely faded and is still golden to sight. You have to turn it in the light to see the small faded spot. Illustrations pages are perfect with tissue guards intact on 10 of the 12. Pages are all very tight. No rips tears or folds. Only normal but very little foxing. Outside leather is in excellent condition with normal wear for its age showing at top and bottom. There are a couple dark stains on the spine.
