She is by the edge of the open sea as the waves crash among the coast. The night sky that shows two lone stars in the upper left hand area. A lovely antique art picture to be treasured that could be used in any room in your home. Picture is gorgeous, even better when you see it in person. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION No flaws to mention. Very Vibrant in Coloring. The paper is a thicker paper stock and the surface has a slightly ribbed textured linen type surface. A very small tight tear shown at the very bottom edge of the print. Art illustration has a very small beige border around the print. Print is Marked at the bottom border edge, that is just slightly hidden under the frame. TITLE: STELLA MARIS (translation – Star of the Sea, or A Roman Catholic epithet of Virgin Mary, “Star of the Sea”). Excellent Condition of the wood frame. Just some minor dents, bumps or scratches. Frame detail is very ornate in design depicting a large half round ribbed detailing with cutout wood accents finished off with a round wood ball. The original gold finish was very dull so we had refinished it with a newer gold paint. Frame is very sturdy. Maintains its Original Old Wavy Glass. We replaced with newer dust kraft paper, wiring on the back. Ready for you to hang up on your wall. Overall the frame measures 23 inches wide, 19 inches high, a 1-3/4 inch wide frame border.
