This lovely Art Nouveau pendant was crafted in warm 18K yellow gold. The Jesus profile was hand painted and super imposed with slightly raised vibrant orange-red, green, yellow and black enameling. The pendant is framed with small seed pearls strung on gold wire. Accenting the top and bottom of the piece is a bezel set rose cut diamond set in platinum. The reverse side of the piece has a cross with some stars in relief. It appears the lower portion of the design has been rubbed off over time. The pendant is designed in a navette shaped medal measuring 1 3/8″H(excluding bale) by 7/8″W. Pendant is unmarked but tests 18k with platinum bezel settings, and a total weight of 4.7 grams. Gold content was tested with a Niton DXL precious metal analyzer. Pendant is presented in very good overall condition, shows normal wear for age.
