These paintings are all original, hand painted pieces, of excellent proportions at 68cm x 54cm each. All are painted on tin/metal and are just exceptionally beautiful. They are likely french in origin. Jesus falls for the first time. Jesus takes up his cross (or perhaps Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the Cross). Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. Jesus is stripped of his garments (sometimes called the “Division of Robes”). Jesus is nailed to the Cross. A truly moving collection, not to be let pass.
