This heavy antique bell was used for various religious rites & ceremonies inside a church or cathedral. The primary reason for the use of the bell is to create a joyful noise to the Lord as a way to give thanks for the miracle taking place inside the church. An ancillary function of the bell(s) is to focus the attention of those attending the religious ceremony that a spiritual event is taking place for all to behold. We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made. The photos are an accurate depiction of condition.
