Vintage Beige Virgin Mary Fatima tall slim statue with crochet roses doily mantle, rhinestones crown halo upcycled for French or Shabby chic home decor. Original statue in Beige color plastic. Tall and elegant slim figurine. I used a vintage Beige crochet doily with Pink and Blue roses to make the back mantle and halo. It is startched to keep shape. The statue has been embellished with metalic painting along the front mantle. The rosary is also enhanced with painting and a tiny Pink heart. The crown is embellished with rhinestones and puffy Blue satin. I made the halo using part of the doily, adorned with stars. 26cm/ 10 1/2 tall approx. (environmental decor not included). My artistic designs are created from reinvention with pre-owned vintage, distressed and salvaged materials that may have signs of wear, odors, fading and imperfections. These are the marks of history and glamour that I love to find in an old piece. It takes a lot of inspiration and work, but this is what makes my art so special and unique.
