VINTAGE FATIMA STATUE WITH RHINESTONES CROWN AND ROSARY. Vintage Our Lady of Fatima small porcelain statue with rhinestones crown, adorned base with roses and faux pearls. French Chic, Shabby upcycled home decor. Inspired in the travelling statue carried in an adorned litter (called “andor” in Portuguese) during the candlelight procession of Fatima Sanctuary, Portugal annual pilmigrage of May 13th. Original vintage porcelain statue with gold trims in very good condition, with exception of one dove with broken tail, but not that perceptible. I enhanced the mantle with tiny rhinestones. The base is adorned with vintage White satin, handmade Mulberry Pink flowers, White roses and frosted seeds, Pink tulle and faux pearls. It is finished with White painting in the flowers and a silk rope around. The crown is made from scratch with various rhinestones pieces and Aurora borelis glass bead. Included vintage metal roses Fatima rosary (missing beads) with a dome saying “Agua de Fatima” translated for ” Fatima holy water “. The other side has Fatima with little Shepheards. It is painted with a golden tone patina and distressed. 23,5cm /91/2 approx. Tall, base to crown tip. (environmental decor not included). My artistic designs are created from reinvention with pre-owned vintage, distressed and salvaged materials that may have signs of wear, odors, fading and imperfections. These are the marks of history and glamour that I love to find in an old piece. It takes a lot of inspiration and work, but this is what makes my art so special and unique.
