Up for sale is a very Large antique handmade religious 18th century hand carved wooden wall crucifix. This exquisite sculpture is carved by hand with lifelike detailing, is beautifully painted and polychromed, and very well made. Jesus is mounted to a 19th century ebony wooden crucifix which is embellished with brass wrapped ends. It also has its original tole metal INRI scroll mounted to the top that does have some paint loss. The crucifix is in good antique condition and measures. 42″h x 21.5″w.
