Beautiful religious statue of a kneeling praying woman. The statue is old, quite weathered, has lost the pair of angel wings from its back, has lost its brightness and in many places its colors altogether, there are scratches and scuffs, but nevertheless it is very impactful, soothing and toning. The traces of the missing wings are clearly defined, there are some letters on the back, as well as something written in pencil (I can’t read it). The statue is 48 cm tall (18.9). The pedestal measures 16/22 cm (6.3″/8.7″). This antique plaster statue exudes an air of ethereal calm, capturing the essence of a kneeling, praying female angel with sublime grace. The material, weathered plaster, bears the patina of time, adding a sense of antiquity to the work.
