Offering this antique German leather bound religious book open to Der 1. Psalm (The 1st Psalm), printed in traditional Fraktur (Gothic) script. This specific layout matches historic editions of Martin Luther’s translation of the Psalter (“Der Psalter des Königs und Propheten David”), commonly printed in Germany and Pennsylvania during the 18th century. The book contains wonderful sepia ink hand written notes as shown. Pages are in tack with a loose spine. Tears and stains on book as expected with such an early piece. A wonderful extremely old example. Please see pictures for details and measurements.
